Mounts easily ,You do not need to purchase anything else, just bolt them on. 

These controls will not work on cycles with an engine guard, 2-in-1 exhaust or crash bars.

Fitment :

Fit For '91-'03 XL (except XL883R). Does not fit with 2-into-1 Exhaust Systems. Current owners of Engine Guard P/N 49018-88A and 49018-88B will need to purchase bracket P/N 49014-86A for proper fitment (sold separately). This kit will not fit on vehicles equipped with an early style engine guard. Use Engine Guard Kit P/N 49018-88C when adjustable highway peg supports are installed.
